Photo Props

My middle child, My only daughter is nearing the end of her 8th grade year! Yikes!!
Her school doesn't do a "graduation" - - instead they have a big end of the year 8th Grade Dance.
When my older son went through here, I was the PTSA VP, and Chaperoned the Dance.
This time around I'm on the Dance Committee and in charge of the Buddy Pictures . . . so I created these photo props for the kids to use!

Here's where I used those paper flowers. I added a small gem in the middle of each.

We'll see how long they last - because after all its only foam board and cardstock!

Paper Flowers

It's always amazing what you can create with paper!
Especially what 3 sheets of 12x12 cardstock can turn into ...

I cut these flowers with my Cricut Maker. The image is one size, so I copied it 5 times onto my design mat and sized them myself.  I use a bone folder to curl each petal, then layer them using hot glue.

Personalizing

My 10 year old son plays travel basketball. We go to a lot of tournaments - so we purchased sweatshirts with the team logo on them.
This was the perfect time for me to take out my Cricut Easy Press and do a little bit of personalization.

I did a simple basketball outline image with our last name - for mine & my husbands sweatshirts.

My 10 year old wants his new # on his ... so in the meantime I just put our last name.
I'll add the # on when the new jerseys arrive in a few weeks.

The best way for me to figure out the center is marking it up with blue tape.
{Don't tell anyone, but I'm a crafter that doesn't like to measure a whole lot!}
I should probably find some chalk or one of those fabric pencils that sewers use, so I don't have to guess after I take the tape off!
